diary on  turns on the diary, `diary off' turns it off.  The default diary
	  file is "diary" but output can be redirected using >file or >>file.
	  diary with no arguments just tells you whether the diary is on or off.
	  When the diary is on, a copy of all input/output that appears on your
	  screen is also written to the diary file.
